It's made from 316L surgical grade stainless steel with an 18K yellow gold finish. We use a high quality electroplating process, which means the gold finish will not rub or flake away easily. 316L stainless steel is low reaction, with minimum nickel content. People sensitive to nickel should be okay since it is finished with 18K gold, as this doesn't react.
