Lorrie Gallant is from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, Cayuga Nation, Turtle Clan. The Big Dig is the first of The Six Adventure Series. The Six are youth from a First Nations community. Their friendship takes them on an adventure when they find an artifact while playing at a building site. Now they must work together to unearth this amazing discovery before the builders return. The story shows how these six become friends and how their lives reveal hidden characteristics of the Haudenosaunee  (People of the Longhouse).
